I-EA-T Code of Conduct

  • To be responsible for the public in the area where each industrial estate is located and/or those affected by organization operations

     

  • To maintain and uphold national traditions and culture, as well as to provide hospitable cooperation and support for government and community policies and activities through regular return of some profit to society

     

  • To keep strictly confidential all information or secrets of investors, service receivers, relevant parties and the public; to refrain from taking advantage of such information or secrets for the benefits of any person or entity in an unethical or illegal manner

     

  • To render impressive services for all customer groups with speed and accuracy, as well as to provide infrastructure services for industrial operators and involved parties with a set standard of quality and a fair price

     

  • To uphold and follow safety, occupational health and environment principles for balanced and sustainable development

     

  • To create Economic Value Added (EVA) for the country, the government and organization stakeholders

     

  • To support and assist industrial estate joint-operators and industrial operators in industrial estates as if they were an I-EA-T unit or a client

     

  • To formulate fair contract terms and conditions for contracted partner(s)

     

  • To provide both positive and negative organization-related information essential for stakeholders and the public in a sufficient and accurate manner

I-EA-T Board's Ethics

Realizing the significance of good corporate governance as a key factor in bringing about organizational reliability and efficiency, the I-EA-T Board developed the following guidelines on ethics and code of conduct for all board members to adhere:

Ethics towards I-EA-T

  • To perform duties with honesty and transparency for maximum I-EA-T benefit and to avoid any undertakings that might cause a conflict of interest with I-EA-T
  • To optimize the application of management knowledge and skills and to carry out careful management based on good governance
  • To maintain I-EA-T prestige and reputation as well as its positive corporate image
  • Not to disclose confidential information to external bodies
  • Not to use the power and duties of a board member or to let others exploit such power and duties – directly or indirectly – for the benefit of oneself, others or I-EA-T
  • Ethics towards Employees
  • To treat all employees with courtesy and justice, as well as with respect for their individualism and human dignity
  • To place importance on well-being, fair remuneration and employee welfare
  • To give priority to the development of employee knowledge and capabilities in a systematic and thorough manner
  • To act as a good example in terms of ethics to encourage strict compliance among management and employees
  • To conform strictly to laws and regulations related to employees and to listen to employee opinions and suggestions
  • Ethics towards Clients
  • To provide quality services in line with a defined acceptable quality level
  • To find ways to continuously increase benefits for clients and the public
  • To create new innovations for client and the public satisfaction
  • To disclose service-related information in a complete and accurate manner without misrepresenting any facts
  • To establish a system to accept service complaints and provide clients and the public with a quick response
  • Ethics towards Society
  • To cultivate a socially responsible mindset among employees at all levels and to avoid all action and undertakings that might cause a negative impact on natural resources, the environment and the public's quality of life
  • To return a portion of I-EA-T profits on a regular basis to social contribution activities – including the promotion of Thai traditions and culture as well as the preservation of natural resources
  • To follow strictly or oversee compliance with the intent of all laws and regulations issued by supervising authorities

I-EA-T Management's Ethics

The term "management" refers to senior I-EA-T executives, ranging from office/department directors, industrial estate directors, and division directors and all those above.

Ethics towards I-EA-T

  1. To perform duties with honesty for maximum benefit of the organization, as well as for the prestige, dignity and unity of all employees
  2. To conduct duties by always applying management knowledge and skills to the best of one's abilities and to manage the organization with care and forethought
  3. Not to seek benefit for oneself or any closely connected persons by using any organizational information not yet revealed to the public, and to avoid any undertaking that might cause a conflict of interest with I-EA-T
  4. Not to disclose any confidential organization information to external bodies
  5. To supervise and manage any organization assets in such a way that they do not depreciate or become worthless without a reasonable cause
  6. To report the organization status in a timely, complete and truthful manner
  7. To inform the public about both positive and negative organizational prospects based on projections supported with sufficient data

Ethics towards Employees

  1. To give priority to the development of employee knowledge and capabilities by providing equal and fair opportunities
  2. To conform strictly to laws and regulations related to employees and to listen to employee opinions and suggestions
  3. To treat all employees with courtesy and justice, as well as to respect their individualism and human dignity and to avoid any unfair action or undertakings against employees
  4. To encourage employees to observe the highest code of conduct and to promote ethical behavior throughout the organization
  5. To bolster employee confidence regarding well-being, fair remuneration and welfare and to ensure an opportunity for career path advancement
  6. To communicate organizational strategic information and policy to employees on a continuous basis
  7. To keep the working environment safe for employees and their property
  8. To appoint, promote and transfer employees – including giving rewards and punishment – with ethics, morality, fairness and justice, based on the knowledge, capabilities and appropriateness of each employee
  9. To provide support for employees to advance in their career based on performance and capabilities
  10. To carry out management based on fairness and equal treatment
  11. To provide opportunity for employees to report violations of organization laws
  12. To encourage employees to employ the organization's limited resources for maximum benefit

Ethics towards Clients

  1. To provide quality services in line with defined acceptable quality levels
  2. To establish a system allowing clients to express their opinions about services and to provide clients with quick response
  3. To disclose service-related information in a complete and accurate manner without misrepresenting any facts
  4. To find ways to increase continuous benefits for clients and the public and to create innovations for client and the public satisfaction
  5. To follow stipulated terms and conditions agreed with clients and if a condition cannot be fulfilled, to inform clients in advance
  6. To provide services that do not cause misunderstanding or confusion among clients and to provide services with transparency to prevent potential problems
  7. To strictly and continually maintain client confidentiality; to not unjustly use the client secrets for personal gain
  8. To exercise effort to minimize production costs provided service standards and quality are maintained at all times
  9. To avoid unreasonable profits in relation to the quality of services and not to set unfair trading terms for clients and the public
  10. To accept fair responsibility with clients for any damage occurred from a service mistake or the failure to conform to a contract or agreement

Ethics towards Society

  1. To cultivate a spirit of social responsibility among employees at all levels and to avoid any action or undertakings that might damage natural resources and the environment
  2. To strictly follow or oversee employee compliance with the intent of laws and regulations
  3. Not to support or condone actions that might bring about avoidance of laws and regulations
  4. To cooperate with supervising authorities and report any violation or non-compliance of any applicable laws and regulations
  5. Not to use organization money or assets to support political activities
  6. To return partial profits of the organization on a regular basis to social contribution activities – including the promotion of Thai traditions and culture as well as the preservation of natural resources

Ethics for Staff and Employees

1.To strictly comply with rules, regulations, announcements and orders of the organization

2.To use and maintain organization assets in an efficient manner for maximum benefit and in such a way they are not wasted, lost or damaged sooner than anticipated

3.To build a positive image and reputation for the organization with the public

4.To keep secret information strictly confidential

5.To refrain or avoid expressing any opinion to external bodies or the press in any matter related to organization work without authorization, or in any matter that might affect the organization's reputation and performance

6.To perform duties with honesty, diligence and perseverance and to dedicate oneself to the organization's mission to the best of one's abilities

7.To learn and adopt new knowledge and technology to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness

8.To jointly establish and maintain harmony and unity among staff and employees

9.To adhere to morals and not seek position, merit or other benefits from superiors or others

10.To listen to suggestions from superiors and not to bypass direct superiors in the execution of operations

11.To observe and perform duties as assigned by superiors with perseverance to succeed in any endeavor and without violating organization rules and regulations

12.To respect the rights of colleagues in the organization

13.To treat colleagues with courtesy, thoughtfulness, generosity and friendliness; not to conceal information necessary for job performance from fellow colleagues and learn to adjust to working with others

14.To respect others, for example by not representing others' work as one's own

15.To avoid criticizing the work or any personal matter of colleagues in such a way that might cause damage or disunity

16.To refrain from all vices; not to behave in such a way that would disparage the reputation of oneself and the organization, for example:

   A. Not to be heavily in debt

   B. Not to indulge in gambling

   C. Not to engage in any occupation, profession or business that might affect the duties, performance or reputation of oneself and the organization

17.Not to accept gifts exceeding 3,000 Baht in value and to report the acceptance of a gift to superiors

18.Not to turn against superiors and to behave with respect and courtesy to those in a higher position

19.Not to report false information to superiors

20.Not to proceed with any undertaking that might cause a conflict of interest with the organization

21.To behave appropriately as I-EA-T employees – in terms of manners, etiquette, behavior and dress – to build credibility for oneself and the organization

22.To maintain one's own reputation, to create harmony in the organization and to adhere to morality

23.To protect I-EA-T benefits without proceeding with any undertaking that might cause I-EA-T to lose benefit and not to take organization benefits for one's own or for a client

24.Not to conduct a business using I-EA-T's name and not to operate any business that share in I-EA-T's benefits and losses or that falsely claim, directly or indirectly, I-EA-T's reputation in its activities

25.Not to use equipment or personnel of I-EA-T for one's own personal or business benefits

26.To be non-partisan to any political party but allowed to exercise political rights to support democracy in a good manner

27.To render services to clients with willingness and courtesy and to provide beneficial information and recommendations to clients upon request or when faced with problems

28.To be sincere and to keep promises with clients, and not to create client expectations that cannot be fulfilled

29.To notify superiors without any delay when finding that any existing operational methods or regulations may be improved to correspond with the current situation

30.To tender due care and assistance to keep a clean, safe and pleasant work environment

31.Not to accuse executives or other employees without a factual base

32.To inform relevant authorities if the organization or its personnel has committed any misconduct

33.To sincerely and firmly undertake any activities to enhance the quality, efficiency and development of I-EA-T to improve its excellence
